Bear Versus First Batch

Saturday, March 27th, 2010

It’s the first sampling of Bear Versus paintings I’ve done for the Bear Quest Signed Edition. (Available Here!) These were great fun to do. I could spend a whole year painting Bear Vs Random Stuff 8 hours a day. Who will hire me to do such a thing?

A couple got water damage (for added effect…um). Fourth image is a creature from Colin Panetta’s awesome comic Dead Man Holiday. Maude the Chiuaua will not be featured in any comics to my knowledge.

This is the last of the cavemen concepts. What’ll it all add up to?

Some days I come up with nonsense like this. At Sketch Group no less. Everyone says Machine Man would win, but Food Guy’s crafty. He’s got poison potatoes and I’m pretty sure he can re-construct himself after being split apart.

Bears No Limit!
So it’s here: an 80 page Bear Quest book filled to the brim with bear maulings and retro video game glory! It looks sorta exactly like this:

And can be bought right here!

Not only that, but there are TWO versions:

  1. The Regular Edition which goes for $15 and you can get it right on Amazon. How very convenient!

  2. Or a super awesome Signed Edition for $20 which comes with an original Bear Versus painting! It’s a personalized artwork with The Bear locked in combat with Whatever You Want!

It is up to you and you alone which to choose!

Futhermore, as every year, I am going to be at Staple: The Independent Media Expo this weekend March 6th. It is the greatest convention this world has ever seen. If you are in Austin come by. I’ll be at Table 69 Gnourg Press selling books, posters, and even have FREE little stand-up bears that look like this:
